MediVVarse began as a student initiative at Guru Kashi University, Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Bathinda, Punjab, in March 2023. Today, incubated at IIT Ropar, we are building the future of prosthetic care.

Vision

To provide mobility and empowerment to people suffering from physical disability of arms by providing quality prosthetic solutions which are accessible, affordable, inclusive and reliable.

Mission

Our Journey So Far

MediVerse Founded

MediVerse was established by students of Guru Kashi University, Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Bathinda, Punjab, as a MedTech platform to promote healthcare innovation. The initiative was launched by Dr. Devinder Kumar Maheshwari along with MedicoWorld, Laboratory World, and PharmaEngine.
11 April 2024

Registered as a Micro Business

MediVerse achieved its first formal business registration, marking its transition from a student initiative to an organized healthcare innovation venture.
2025

Innovation & National Recognition

The team gained national recognition through startup and innovation programs, including selection in major innovation initiatives, while advancing the development of the SAKSHAM prosthetic platform.
06 August 2025

Incorporated as MediVVarse Private Limited

MediVerse was officially incorporated as MediVVarse Private Limited, transforming from a university-led innovation initiative into a registered health-tech company dedicated to developing affordable, intelligent prosthetic solutions.
2026

Incubated at TBIF, IIT Ropar

MediVVarse was incubated at the Technology Business Incubator Foundation (TBIF), IIT Ropar, receiving mentorship and funding support to accelerate research, product development, and commercialization of affordable prosthetic technology.
